Courses for Children

Tronwell offers a study program for children between the ages of 8 and 15 that is principally geared toward the development of oral skills by allowing the student to use the English language as a effective communication in everyday situations.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Review and reinforce the English-learning objectives for school-age children set by the Ministry of Education.
Prioritize and optimize the development of oral communication skills in English by means of dialogue, conversation and debate.
Communicate in basic English employing grammatical structures and vocabulary relevant to students’ lives.
Develop and broaden basic English vocabulary.
Provide information and encourage interest in those cultural aspects of the English-speaking world that may be relevant and significant to students’ lives.

TEACHERS WHO FACILITATE LEARNING

Tronwell teachers who work with children aim to facilitate the development of their oral skills and auditory comprehension. With this in mind, the great majority of activities undertaken in class look to favor dialogue and debate between group members, as well as exercise the reading skills and writing abilities of each and every child.

Given that we aim to expose students to different accents and teaching styles, each group will be led by a rotating roster of certified teachers, bringing to view the multiculturalism common to the English-speaking world.
